NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2022: Atlanta Hawks versus the Milwaukee Bucks
Two pre-season NBA games will take place in Etihad Area, Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on the 6th and 8thOctober 2022. It will be the league’s debut in the Arabian Gulf region. This will be a very exciting game between the 2021 defending NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks and the Atlanta Hawks!
The Atlanta Hawks
The player to watch in the Atlanta Hawks team include two-time all-star player Trae Young. He is the second player in history to lead the NBA in assists and total points. Young’s team members include all-rookie team players John Collins and Bogdan Bogdanović.
The Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks are the 2021 defending NBA champions and boast a very strong team line-up. The team includes the fan favourite Giannis Antetokounmpo who holds a two-time Kia MVP title. Bucks also has a strong defence side, with team member Jrue Holiday, the three-time NBA all-defensive star.

There will be two games: one on Thursday the 6th October and one on Saturday the 8th October 2022.
The Abu Dhabi NBA 2022 games will take place at the Etihad Arena, Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
The tickets go on sale the 30th of June 2022.
Venue Doors Open at 6:30 PM but the games begin at 8:00 PM
There will be no cloakroom available at the event and bags larger than 30x30x15 are not permitted inside the arena.

If travelling from Abu Dhabi via Saadiyat Island (Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hwy – E12), please take the Yas West exit and follow the Yas Leisure Drive route towards Yas Marina. Upon passing the W Hotel, take the right at the traffic light and follow the directional signage to venue parking.
If travelling from Abu Dhabi or Dubai using the Yas Tunnel (via E10), please take a left at the first traffic lights after the tunnel on Yas Island and follow the directional signage to venue parking.
Attendees aged 12 and above must present their Green Pass on Al Hosn app. Applies to all UAE residents and tourists.
OR – present their vaccination card and a negative PCR test no older than 14 days. Vaccination cards issued outside UAE will be accepted. Applies to tourists or those unable to use Al Hosn.
OR – present a negative PCR test taken not more than 48 hours for un-vaccinated attendees, PCR conducted outside UAE will be accepted. Applies to unvaccinated attendees, or those without proof of vaccinated status.
